Weigh in

Today's weigh in~ 159.8

Well, I am down from last week, but I still haven't caught up to where I first started. I'm really getting discouraged and I don't understand what is going on with my body.
I'm hitting The Metabolism Miracle hard today to get through reading it.

Keep pressing on Missy. You are doing a good job. I cut out sodas and bagels and stopped snacking. During the 2nd week of trying to be healthier, I gained weight. It's such a struggle. Keep up the good work! I just prayed for you.

I ALWAYS gain the first 6 weeks into a new way of living. I did some research and love what Bob Greene talks about with muscles and water. He says that most people do indeed gain weight when they first start their exercise program because the muscles have been dehydrated, AND atrophy'd. When you begin to exercise, your muscles expand (as they should), and begin to take in all the water they had been so dehydrated from. Which in turn will show up as weight gain on the scale. When in fact it is wonderful news for your body. You will experience weight loss after 6 to 8 weeks on a program.

Hope that brings you encouragement, Missy! Keep it up girl! You are doing fantastic! And with your consistancy you can help but see great results!! Cheering for you!!
